Two chain sheets together make a vest.  This means, you can make a your own custom fit chain shirt very easily.  Using small rings you can fasten the two sheets together to make a wonderful, stainless chainmail shirt.

will accept paypal.

How-to... / Re: How To...Survive

Dear Mr. bob oliver,
on this saturday morning being 8/28/10, you have made me spit my coffee all over my computer, out of laughter...that is all...

Sorry about that!

Tip #13:  Calibration.  In other words, mind how hard you're swinging.  Yes, this is "nerf-S.C.A." and yes, we're fighting with padded weapons, but for all that you can certainly hit someone hard enough with one to Royally Kadong* them.  It's not about force, it's about skill.  That said, there is a caveat to this tip.  If you sneak up behind someone in heavy armor (plate, thick leather, even an especially heavy cloak) in the thick of combat and tap them lightly between the shoulders while whispering the number 3 over and over again don't be too suprised if they don't even realize you're hitting them.  The weapons might be padded, but the armor is often times based on real world designs and was, at the time, capable of stopping real weapons.

*Kadong (ka-dong) verb :: 1. To bludgeon.  2.  The act of bludgeoning.  3.  A bludgeon-esque motion

Tip #14:  If you're not a barbarian or some sort of savage humanoid don't teabag people.  It's tacky.  :)

Tip #15:  During play if a Marshal makes a ruling that you think is incorrect do NOT stop play to discuss it with them.  Look, we're all geeks (or is nerds the P.C. term now?) here.  We all ADORE arguing about the finer points of rules minutae and who doesn't love a good debate about the Enterprise vs. a Star Destroyer?  That said, if you think a Marshall was incorrect in a ruling, find them later, after the action has settled down and talk to them quietly away from the flow of the game about it.  Also keep in mind something a boss of mine told me once:

"I'm never wrong, but if you think I am wrong feel free to bring your argument to me, but you'd better be right!"

Tip #10- I just want to see what leading with your crotch looks like. I have like five different stances in my brain and all of them are freaking hilarious. In fact, I wrote this entire post really to inquire about this.

Just watch Steve Weiss play an Orc on agelong night, BROKEN THUNDER!
